State Approvals

How a State Gets Added

Bridge grid is approved one state at a time, project by project. Here is how it works and what it means for your bridge.

Four Steps, One Project at a Time

  1. 01

    A state sponsors a bid

An owner or DOT puts out a bid that calls for bridge grid decking on a specific project.

  2. 02

    The bid is approved

The state reviews and approves the grid deck for that project, including fabricator and material requirements.

  3. 03

    MCS wins the work

We price, fabricate, document, and deliver the grid to the approved project requirements.

  4. 04

    The state joins our list

With a completed approved project, that state is added and future work there moves faster.

Not on the Map? We Can Still Work Together.

A state shown in gray does not mean MCS can't do business there. It means we haven't completed an approved bridge grid project there yet.

If your project is in an unlisted state, bring us in early. We can help owners and engineers understand what a sponsored bid needs and support the submittals that get grid approved.

Approved in 27 States, and Growing

Bridge grid is approved one state at a time. A state sponsors a bid that calls for bridge grid, and when that bid is approved and MCS wins the work, the state joins our list.

A state shown in gray does not mean we can't work there. It means we haven't yet. Tap a state to see the approval.

This map covers U.S. states. We've also completed work in Canada and Belize.
