Bridge Grid Experience in the Field
Bridge grid fabrication and coordination on real infrastructure work.

Ashland Bridge Deck Replacement
Full deck replacement on an aging New Hampshire bridge using 15,000 sq ft of half-filled T grid deck across 152 panels, 76 northbound and 76 southbound, delivered in two phases. The job marked the first use of a new beam-punching die and the first MCS build with pans positioned below the cross bars.

Queensboro Bridge
The Queensboro Bridge connects Long Island City in Queens with Midtown and the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Because it is a heavily traveled and highly visible bridge, the project required barrier systems that would protect workers during construction while maintaining the bridge's appearance.

Weaver Sanitation Transfer Station
MCS adapted its bridge-grade grid decking technology for a demanding industrial waste-transfer station floor in Breezewood, PA. The 3,652-square-foot installation uses 28 heavy-duty galvanized panels designed to distribute truck and bulldozer loads across the deck surface.

MLK Roadway and Sidewalk Rehabilitation
MCS supplied two different grid deck systems for the same Ohio structure: a half-filled roadway deck and a fully filled sidewalk deck. The sidewalk scope was larger than the roadway scope, and MCS also provided field-installed materials including three custom beveled shim-plate configurations.

Buquet Bridge
The Buquet Bridge is a movable swing bridge in Louisiana that rotates horizontally to allow marine traffic to pass. MCS fabricated a specialized replacement grid deck from weathering steel using existing LB Foster drawings, combining open grid with selected fully filled sections and extensive quality documentation.

Walt Whitman Bridge
Grid fabrication for a major regional crossing.

Chelsea Viaduct
Grid deck fabrication supporting viaduct rehabilitation work.

Liberty Bridge
Grid fabrication for a significant urban bridge project.

Mathis Bridge
Grid decking components for a movable bridge application.

I-895 Patapsco River Flats
Grid fabrication supporting highway rehabilitation across the Patapsco River flats.

Scott Road over Montour Run
Grid deck fabrication for a municipal bridge rehabilitation in Pennsylvania.
